In Iceland we’re seeking to carry out the great commission, to reach the natives living here, and while undertaking this task, God has so graciously brought the nations to us, who we can reach as well.
Over the years we’ve of course had Icelanders gather with us, but also people from all over the world get baptized, come to faith and grow in faith, as we celebrated our 9 year anniversary in August of 2022, we were able to joyfully worship as we had around 90 people gather, representing 17 different nations among them.
We started out the first 4 years doing this ministry bi-vocationally until Gunnar was blessed with generous churches and families in the US who wanted to support him and pay his salary to focus full time on reaching people living in Iceland and to prayerfully help start more churches that do the same.
