The best way to get to know our church is to come to our gatherings on Sunday mornings as we worship together through singing, the study of God’s word through preaching, praying together, giving and remembering the glorious sacrifice of Jesus as we take communion and remember the broken body of Jesus and his shed blood that washed away our sins.

After the service, we have a free lunch where we can catch up, get to know one another, talk about the sermon, or schedule dinners and coffee meetings throughout the week.

There is no dress code we adhere to, nor do you have to be a Christian to come, you can bring your questions, your mistakes, your past and see for yourself what our church is like. We are all simply imperfect people worshipping God who has answered our questions, subdued our skepticism and cynicism and washed away our past as new creations in Jesus.

If you are not a committed follower of Jesus, we’re glad that you are coming but we ask of you not to partake in communion as that is reserved for Christians who are remembering the hope that they have in Jesus, but we do hope to see you one day take communion with us and experience the hope, joy and true and lasting peace that comes through Jesus alone.

Also, as we announce giving during the service there is no obligation to give, it is simply an opportunity for the Jesus follower to grow in generosity, take part in sustaining the ministry of Loftstofan and to help start new churches and take care of those who are in financial distress.
